I would like to know who will be good to vote for in November...

... Hanson

Surprise
I bet you didn't know this was coming!  More importantly, I bet your Congressional Representative didn't either ! !    Now ask yourself, do I need a new representative?

REAL ESTATE SALES TAX

So, this is "change you can believe in?"     Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax?  The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 (presumably after Obama's re-election).  You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one.  If you sell your $300,000 home, there will be a $11,400 tax.  This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.  Is this Hope & Change great or what?   Does this stuff makes your November 2nd and 2012 votes more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the Obama Care bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either (result of clandestine midnight voting for huge bills they've never read). AND, there are a few other surprises lurking.

Why am I sending you this?
The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book.
People have the right to know the truth because an election is coming on November 2nd!

I
LOVE you guys!

Bush lied us into the Iraq war, costing us $900 billion dollars and more 4,424 needless US combat deaths (more than twice the number killed on 9/11).

Republicans opened our southern boarder to millions of illegals, so big business can get cheap labor; driving down wages and state/federal income tax revenues.

The Bush administration happily watched as banks approved millions of liar loans which now has cost hundreds of billions in bank bailouts and a similar amount in home equity valuations.  As a result, there are more than 167,000 'distressed' homes now on the market - JUST IN ILLINOIS.

And let's not forget how Bush gave tax cuts to the rich, while he left you and I out in the cold.

But the most devastating thing Republicans did to us, was through their US Supreme court appointees in the Citizens United v FCC ruling.  The court's conservative (republican) majority ruled that there shall be no limits on corporate campaign / political contributions.  So now, the richest Americans tell us what to think.  And the rest of us go along with what we're told - even when it's against our own best interest.  After all; what should we do... think for ourselves, do our own research?  Nahhhh!  We're too busy watching Fox News... right?

Hell, it's more fun to get our opinions fed to us by Fox News.  After all, they claim to be fair and balanced.  But maybe they forgot to tell you:
 - they gave $1 million to the Republican Governor's Assn.

 - their biggest shareholder, after the Murdock family, is a Saudi prince.

Go ahead.  Complain about sales taxes on home sales - should taxes instead be raised on diapers and baby formula?  The dollar's value is at an all-time low.  Just today, the price of gold hit a record high.

Clinton left us with a $236 billion budget surplus.  Bush left us with a $1.3 trillion budget deficit.  This nation is going broke because Republicans screw the middle class for the sake of their club members; "The Rich Guys".  Sadly, though we are not in their club, some non-members cheer them on.  Are you one of their cheerleaders?

Bob

P.S.: Pahleeeese... don't send me any more pro-Republican political emails.
